East, West and North facing shutters require 1 solar panel or 2 for south facing, to give you maximum performance.
The solar panel sits flat on the pelmet of the shutter, or on the wall itself. We have a 1 channel or 6 channel remote control available. These are both powered by a 3 volt lithium button battery.
